How do I see someone's Windows Maxtor External Hard Drive on my Mac OS X?

hello
have someone's windows hd i'm trying connect on mac , i'm having hard time figuring out.

downloaded seagate's onetouch driver installation did much.

when tried mount in disk utility, got "mount failed - disk “disk2s1” not mounted." error.

other suggestions how make work?
