winebottler; I must be doing something stupid

howdy all,

i've got problem indicating own shortcomings, suspect. i've got simple program cooked find positions of pairs of integers in recursive tree. meat of code (while using recursion) less 50 lines , nothing exciting happens. dreamed using c in ubuntu, rewrote on visual basic (what university has available) in order make nice gui form end user (in music department ... short version --- he's using recursion make musical composition). of course didn't check, , of course has mac. should able drop exe in winebottler , well. when so, creates prefix (that is, if tell put exe file in app ... if try install winebottler using whole published package, says can't find app file, or something). once done, windows pops , things seem work well. can enter values, when press "compute" button on form, window disappears! know stupid thing doing wrong? suppose re-code whole mess on mac, i'm not programmer ... , (finally, after sweating) have working version on pc.
