Serious doubt about Macbook: please help me

hi, have crucial doubt these 2 ultrabooks.
can these 2 configurations same price of 1150 euros student discount:

- macbook retina 13''
i5, 128gb ssd, 8 gb ram

- macbook air 13''
i5, 256 gb ssd, 8 gb ram

now, study computer science , love retina display, think 128gb of storage limit me, use of windows 8 , visual studio on it, , maybe in future talking vm's.
it's true don't store games, music nor videos. i'll use macbook professional , studying usage, programming, mail, web.

so, you'll chose if me? retina display life, better processor less battery power , portability, or ultra portability , no concerns storage usage , vm's ?

, also, sell better in future?
