To Clone Or Not To Clone, that is the question!

so, imac had go apple store bunch of days have the mechanism™ repaired/replaced.

before sending it, made complete of drive, erased it.

should getting in next day or so.

request opinions this: should clone backup imac drive, or should fresh image, , rebuild scratch..maybe clearing random minor glitches may have been encountering. (none point to, general scrubbing though).

if fresh install, believe migration assistant use drive source things want pull over. know can time machine backups, mac, or windows xp sp3 or newer.. doing drive may possible.

worse comes worse, if have mac, boot cloned disk, , use migration assistant's source.
