Keeping my iPad safe

i'm going on trip , taking ipad mini me. have set need enter password in , added find iphone it.

there else should do?

obviously, keep out of sight when it's not being used.
 

good moves you've made far. if staying @ hotel , plan leave mini in room, stick "do not disturb" sign on door hotel staff stays out of room. unless room contains lockable safe.

other suggestion keep location in mind. that, mean if use @ restaurant or other public place, don't forget it. did precisely right after got ipad couple of years ago. carry mine in protective sling bag while traveling. had dinner @ thai restaurant in chicago , left sling bag on seat.

lucky, our wonderful server came running out after bag containing ipad. thank profusely - , mentally kicked myself being dumb.
