Need Help: Screen Sharing Between B&W G3 10.4.11 & Mystic G4 10.5.8

okay, here's want try out, i'm not sure work. both computers on same network:

1. i have b&w g3 running 10.4.11.
2. i have mystic g4 (powermac g4 gigabit ethernet) running 10.5.8.
3. i have 1 monitor, 1 keyboard, , 1 mouse (seriously; have 1 monitor)

here's want do:

1. i want able run g3 headless (nothing connected it).
2. i want ability boot & shutdown g3 remotely g4.
3. i want ability choose user @ login (no automatic login).

can via screen sharing on g4 other 10.5.8 machines no problems, works out of box. obviously, tiger doesn't have screen sharing. can on "want" list without apple desktop remote?

if so, need set up?

i may wrong tiger's built in vnc server accept different client. screen sharing, should able pin screen sharing dock on g4 , access g3 ip. first must enable "apple remote desktop" in sharing preferences. starting it, not sure short of older copy of apple remote desktop. perhaps has wake on lan script can share.
