Need a new TV, I need help please!

hello everyone, gotta new tv because tv's cable input broke have no tv unless new tv. problem not know tv's , since i'm on college budget can not spend crazy; however, i'm willing spend little bit. i'm looking 32 inch tv gaming. can me out?
 

may simple

simple. directly connect cable tv or there converter box? many converter boxes have multiple outputs. have input on current tv can used alternate connection cable box?
