Photo Management (iPhoto / Aperture / Lightroom)

good afternoon!

been lot of time thinking best photo management program mac manage family, traveling , personal photos (i'm not professional photography hobby).

proposals shuffle are: iphoto (the basic) , aperture or lightroom.
far have been strong advocate of adobe i've been year since i've left programs photoshop, illustrator, etc ... alternatives such sketch or pixelmator.

strikes me aperture, issue of being , guess apple go fine , more professional iphoto suits me tinker raw files.
unclear mandated theme pictures , that's comes in. lightroom, basic application professional photographer.

think? user of aperture or lightroom can tell me pros , cons?

thanks!

i started iphoto upgraded aperture in order gain more editing capabilities. additional organization features bonus. changeover trivial since both use same file format. prefer apple apps ui on adobe. used ps elements sometime ago never liked it.

before getting aperture went through tutorial sure needed. once switched there no learning lag.

if needs modest start off iphoto (since comes mac) aperture backup plan.
