Sound on video recordings - one mic?

i have bizarre problem on 6 , wondering if same mic used record audio regardless of camera (front or back) used record video. if record video using front camera, clear audio on recording. if record using primary camera on static sound , audio extremely faint, imperceptible. far know phone has 1 mic. therefore seem have software glitch of kind. guess can try , wipe , see if works i'd rather not. have appt @ apple on tuesday.
 

actually phone has 3 microphones....
on on bottom, 1 in earpiece, , 1 on next camera lens.
