Virtualizing on Mac OS X

hi, have had parallels trial installed although don't have experiences other similar software.

wonder virtualizing software cleanest among all?

cleanest meant ones doesn't modify computer (put things launch agents, launch daemons, startup items, installing safari extensions, etc).

tips or suggestions?
