let's talk economy of nz:

again explain me why minimum wage didn't kill our economy , companies didn't leave packing? why didn't minimum wage increasing have negative affect on our economy? republican arguments these days...
in western nations sort of jobs minimum wage jobs require employee on-site. burger can't cooked overseas , shipped new zealand, why hospitality/retail jobs pretty low-wage jobs left -- things manufacturing can outsourced, , have been.
therefore retailers paying workers minimum wage cannot "leave packing" unless want shut down completely. they'll have pay increased wage workers, , in short-term have come out of profits, increasing price of products or decreasing size. in long term each wage increase makes more worthwhile businesses invest in ways decrease amount of un-skilled labour they'll have buy -- , there many options available so, large companies. remember when made cars in new zealand?
don't know why people focus on how detrimental higher minimum wage businesses -- it's un-skilled workers negatively affected in long run, demand labour go down.
