i pre-ordered iphone through at&t, stupid me ordered wrong phone. next day called cancel order. phone rep told me sent shipping facility, create ticket have cancelled, there no guarantee , receive email if cancelled.
few minutes later received confirmation email saying order had been cancelled. called them confirm confirmation. rep told me had indeed been cancelled.
apple had sent email saying needed complete purchase or else phone reservation cancelled. of course didn't click link.
planning go wait in line buy correct phone, checked make sure at&t eligibility had been restored. said ineligible! chatted rep said phone had shipped.
why phone had shipped after receiving both confirmation email saying order had cancelled, , had not completed apple reservation?!
have either wait possibly weeks return , correct phone, or purchase phone no contract more $$.
lot at&t crappy order cancellation procedures.
the demand apple products can cause issues getting one. return/re-order hard since there none left.
