Experiences about an upgrade to flashdisk - MacBook late 2008

hey mates!

have mac book late 2008, first 1 alu body. it's best notebook i've ever had. i'm thinking buy new 1 because of performance.
i've done upgrades on ram , harddisk, that's reason why worked finde long period.
see 1 more chance more performance out of old machine , replace harddisk flashdisk. can recomand or have experiences this? big step in performance?

upgrading harddrive ssd quite big performance boost. 256gb ssd can bought $110 totally recommend
