General Help with extracting images from locked iPad

hi everyone,

long story short.. i'm trying girl ipad husband smashed in rage punching screen in. ipad junk now, miraculously turns on fine (lcd okay).

issue - girl has loads of family photos stored on device desperately want extracted somehow, doesn't care ipad self. problem im facing device locked pin (which have), i'm not able enter it.. i've tried numerous new ipad screens, touch won't react @ - assume on main board has been damaged involves touch..

there anyway transfer images without being able unlock device??

it's ipad 4th gen (a1460) , running ios 6 or less can tell..

attached images of device, think girl needs consider new partner lol :)
