HealthKit with iPhone 5 - What can you do?

so have iphone 5 updated 8.0.2. can healthkit , health app? don't have fitbit or that, , 5 doesn't have coprocessor act pedometer. pretty useless me except emergency contacts?
 

the iphone 5 count steps, have 5 , several apps available

can use apps map walk or withings app (due updated work health next week) there lot of pedometer apps work
