How do i put my cookies aside?

how put safari cookies aside? yes funny title know not off topic.

dont want delete safari cookies want keep them not let safari use them, have cookies on 7,000 websites. can move them dummy folder , let safari think have deleted them?
works caches , preferences cookies should same right?
 

there cookies.plist file in ~/library/cookies.
can right click on - info & check 'lock' box. far know - stop cookies being updated.
