HP Printer Duplexing issue...

so got hp laserjet built-in duplexing. works great, , i'm happy it. problem is, every time go print, printer's settings have reverted disabling duplex. so, every time, have go preferences , turn on. it's annoying. it's doing exact same thing on 2 different macs: mini running mavericks, , macbook pro running mountain lion. has had similar issue, and/or ideas on how fix it? haven't found other solutions anywhere far.
 

have tried creating "preset" correct settings?
