Is the 6 worth it for $680 (from 5s)? Or wait?

i ordered 6 plus myself husband can't fit in pocket. love bigger screen wants phone fits in pants pocket. haven't seen new features yet, question whether feel smaller 6 worth money (mid-contract), or whether it's better wait upgrade him? he's got 5s now.

don't want switch next, btw.
