2013 Mac Pro security lock adapter junk?

i bought new security lock adapter mac pro, fit bad.

when slide on, it's difficult , hear computer being scratched. it's weird apple didn't line adapter fabric or something.

it's hard secure computer cover base requiring more force press them fit bolt in.

have these issues or adapter broken?
 

sorry wake thread, add same issue.

lock beautifully made, weird apple didn't line plastic or soft material since scratches mac pro , incredibly hard place.

i'll returning mine , seeking alternative.
