Does 4gb of ram go as far in the rMBP?
advice needed. picking mac wife today , either going 4/128 13 inch air, or 4/128 rmbp. have 4/128 air myself know how performs.
interested in better display of rmbp our budget (since bought 1 too) maxed out @ base model rmbp. usage email, facebook, word documents, excel, pandora/spotify , other basic stuff.
main question rmbp perform snappy air on 4/128 configuration? assume due higher clocked processor, know pushing higher res display. have used 8/256 rmbp not base model.
if base model rmbp performs air on basic tasks, have no doubt more enough through grad school.
probably "snappier" use word because cpu , gpu superior in rmpb. osx behave same in both computers 4gb or ram, faster cpu/gpu improve overall performance.
