General PDANet vs MyWi (iOS 7 editions) Any difference?

are there big differences between these two? both enable same tethering abilities , still 'mask' tethering? 2 different companies?

they "masking" part myth.
if carrier digs , looks usage know you're tethering.
no way hide 100% , make untraceable no matter hack you're using.
