Hardware differences between Canadian and UK iPhones.

my cousin has moved uk vancouver, canada , has got himself tesco mobile sim iphone 5.

texts , imessages send fine overseas numbers (canadian) not others. happens when on imessage , sms. tried new uk sim in iphone 5 , messages sent without trouble @ all.

apple yesterday agreed replace phone him able reproduce issue on 1 of test phones in store. needs go next week pick out of stock.

however, know of reason why may be? 'genius' @ apple had no idea , couldn't offer explanation why wouldn't send canadian numbers.
