Fusion Drive and Yosemite

i have tried various installs , keep getting split fusion drive. have used reboot restore utility repair fusion disk , still same results. split drive.
using no partitions , no file vault.
disk performance degraded , black magic app backs up.
have returned copy of mavericks , good. know beta , not worried health of machine. however, when go myself in time machine fails , wants me rename 1 of drives. not sure being backed up.
savvy users have trick or tip? having fun kicking around , know waiting new beta may solve issue.
way macbook pro retina 2013, running great on yosemite other "air drop" reason.
