MagSafe Charging Indicator Light Issues

presently, have 3 mac laptops:

1. mid 2012 15" macbook pro (non-retina)

2. mid 2011 13" macbook air

3. mid 2010 17" macbook pro


on 13" air , 17" pro, leave machines hooked charger of day (when they're not being used). bad practice battery usage, know. either way, chargers both (i'm , use 85-watt magsafe 17" , 45-watt magsafe air) plugged wall, if respective machine isn't.

on time, i've noticed charging indicator lights don't light time used to. it's intermittent; it'll light , other times won't. doesn't matter if laptop @ full charge or if charging.

said, baby hell out of 15" macbook pro , 85 watt magsafe adapter , careful how drain , charge machine's battery. incidentally, not have issue machine nor adapter.

ideas what's going on?
