App Store Listings Gain Family Sharing Info Ahead of iOS 8 Launch

apps in ios , mac app stores have begun displaying details on family sharing, letting users know whether or not feature enabled specific apps ahead of launch of ios 8 , yosemite.

new family sharing listing has appeared in information section each app, noted german site ifun.de [google translate]. developers have turned on family sharing, section displays "yes" under family sharing heading, while apps developers have opted not allow family sharing or have yet turn setting on display "not available."

though family sharing not yet functional, apple has made steps towards implementing service throughout ios 8 , yosemite beta testing period. shortly after wwdc, apple began asking developers enable feature in apps.

ios 8 betas saw addition of family sharing in icloud section of settings app, , ios 8 beta 2 , apple tv beta laid significant groundwork family sharing, adding new section "family purchases" ios app store's purchased tab , new icloud family setting apple tv.

family sharing expected implemented , functional ahead of public release of ios 8, available in september after upcoming iphone event.

one of best new features of ios8 in opinion. , macrumors might need recheck sources because looks me family sharing not optional new apps submitted app store. it's optional if want apply past purchases of app.
