Need Monitor for my Mac Pro!

i'm graphic designer , have new mac pro amd firepro d300 , running osx 10.9.4. 30" apple cinema display having problems , think it's time new monitor.

lot of print work 8.5"x11" documents , able view @ close actual size i'm looking @ onscreen close print piece like.

i'm sure new 4k monitors stunning don't want spend $3k on monitor , assume they're overkill need.

advice on 30"/32" monitors??
 

from discussion here it's may possible still use 30" display nmac pro. you'll need proper adapter. if lot of print graphics, matte screen of 30" acd good. print work , noticed 30" display yields closer color space simulation on final printed material compared glossy led apple display.
