Is it possible to lock the iPhone while using Facetime?

is possible lock iphone while using facetime on iphone 6? used able iphone 5s on ios7, since got iphone 6 can no longer lock iphone while using facetime. disconnects call. help!!
 

i noticed locks when on wifi when on lte hangs up. normal , can changed not hang up?
