Will AT&T iphone 5s work with T-mobile?

hi,

decided switch t-mobile at&t. have wife's iphone 5s 6 months at&t next plan. plan pay-off $400 , unlocked at&t , initiate t-mobile switch.

if at&t unlocks wife's iphone 5s after pay-off $400 remaining balance, can take t-mobile store , use sim card work in iphone 5s? 4g lte band work t-mobile? has did similiar switch at&t t-mobile iphone? need suggestions pls.

in advance.
 

worked fine sister. gave 5 got unlocked through att. used t-mobile sim , she's fine.
