Installing Leopard on a TiBook

i got hot hands on retail leopard install dvd(it came mdd bought forum member here) , anxious fresh leopard install on tibook.

mine last generation model, , can officially support leopard without using work-arounds. has 867mhz processor, , upgraded 1gb ram(i think max).

issue i'm having spits leopard dvd out put in drive.

said, real, genuine apple retail install dvd. know optical drive can read dvds, installed tiger dvd.

issue being double layer disk?

if so, guess "option b" boot tibook in target disk mode , run leopard installer g5. i'd rather install natively, though.

thoughts on going on?
 

i've been able install leopard on various tibooks without problem. lens in yours may dirty or laser may weak. installing via g5 faster.
