iPhone 6/6Plus in Japan Sim Free

i tried searching forum couldn't find relevant responses.

i'm in japan , have t-mobile sim , ocn/docomo sim.

i've bent trying research make sure phone work when return america. believe sim free , unlocked mean 2 different things.
saying sim free means locked first carrier sim put in. on apple website seems can use sim.

fine being locked docomo long can use tmobile when return. understand warranty valid in japan, , okay that.

here resources on apple support forums seem won't useable outside japan.

figured post update in case else wondering same thing.

purchased phone , works tmobile sim , docomo sim, japanese sim free unlocked , can used sim.

issue have japanese model can't disable camera sound. makes embarrassing picture taking, there few apps allow take pictures without sound.

in all, it's purchase. buys out of home country should warned apple care cover phone in country purchased. here until next year i'm not concerned.
