Mac Pro 2009 and Areca Raid Boxes

have question hope may have answer :

have beefed 2009 mac pro , wait the
"next" nmp.

right use bunch of owc elite-al pro qx2 raid boxes.

areca arc-5026 has both usb , thunderbolt connectors.
if 1 of these & connect via usb port, can then
daisy chain more areca boxes via thunderbolt ?
 

no ... there no internal usb-to-thunderbolt conversion (and can use 1 interface @ time).

in order daisy-chain thunderbolt units, need source thunderbolt @ computer end.
