The leTTer T is liTerally always capiTalized

hello friends! have problem! letter t on keyboard on caps lock!! unless word autocorrects. have absolutely no idea why happened. haven't ever spilled on computer. writing paper , bam! big t!
have problem alt key seems permanently enabled making difficult type without ߃˙∂˚∆˙ƒ∂∆˚ƒ˙∆˚´˙ƒ˚∆˙∆˚ß˙ƒ∆˚˙ƒ∆˚∂˙∆˙∂©∫˜∑˜ happening. it's impossible log computer when turn on.

know nothing computers except fact payed lot of money 1 , break heart. if there's can because have loads of assignments , write looks stupid. can't afford bring genius bar , have whisked away , returned week later $500 charge replacing half machine happened year ago.

have 11 inch 2011 macbook air
1.6 ghz intel core i5
os x 10.9.5 (13f34)

 

take genius bar, , see say. software setting.
it's worth shot. don't have them 'repairs' on it, because said, it's software-side. they'll tell how fix (for free).

see if these work first:
go system preferences > keyboard
see if settings amiss. try going input tab, , removing, , re-adding in keyboard layout of choice.

out of that, , go preferences, go language.
remove , add english (or whatever language) again.

hope helps. if not, go apple anyways , see can do.
