A little help please!


hi all,

i'm new forum, please forgive me if posted in wrong section! advice on whether macbook pro wise option myself. ph.d looking invest in new laptop, after using windows many years contemplating moving macintosh. field of study in law, using microsoft word , powerpoint religiously, obv i'll writing thesis too; perhaps misinformed i've heard word mac not stable large word docs true?

don't want i'll writing 100,000 words plus. referencing law folk use footnotes, available on mac, i'm assuming there footnote icon?

thinking of going 15 inch 512gb ssd want storage internally aswell using external drive. if answer or she'd light on of these concerns grateful.

i can't speak of ask, vaguely remember reading blog post somewhere ways prevent corruption of large documents in word mac. had googling few seconds, found here:

if feel describes word usage quite well, don't think have many problems.

agree storage choice, btw. that's go with, of course, that's mere coincidence needs different have.
