Dilemma - replace now or wait until iPhone 6 announcement

i'm based in uk , business account customer t-mobile.

have iphone 4s has died (in boot loop , neither genius bar nor knowledgeable , experienced private repair guy can fix it).

i'm using cheap android phone temporary solution, want on iphone asap.

current contract expires mid-november, t-mobile let me upgrade no penalty next week (14th august).

however, impending announcement of iphone 6, i'm not sure whether go or wait.

there no guarantee i'd go 6 5s enough need, assuming once 6 announced, 5s quite lot cheaper don't want paying on odds 2 years sake of month's use.

i'm after opinions me make decision , knowledge of how price of previous model iphone drops once new 1 announced
 

if can put android phone 8 weeks or so, wait. know short falls of buying 5s close 6 launch think you've convinced yourself. ;)
