eReader with e-ink alternative to iPad?

i don't see ereaders here. i've got ipad hopeless in bright sunlight, , read bunch outside in bright light while camping, , want avoid having carry many books.

assume there aren't lcd-screened tablets can well; i've seen ipad still 1 of best, yet it's unreadable in many conditions find myself in. realize sacrifice color in maps, illustrations, , details in books may reading, hey, guess i'll have @ night ipad.

recommendations? have thought there'd more, esp. maybe running android maybe use apps work type of screen, far looks kinda limited.
 

i have kindle reading needs , use tablet browsing.

new galaxy s tablets boast amoled screen fair better in direct sunlight ipad. may worth checking out if don't want have 2 devices.
