Should I use a hard case?

hello everyone.
have 13' macbook air (2013). absolutely love thing, , starting annoyed hard case have it. it's great , all, looks cool , adds color----but 1 of reasons love air cause thin. use air exclusively @ home. sits on desk when not in use, , use in bed, @ desk, or around house in different places. when bringing out of house put case on, , tote around in duffle bag, @ home use, ok without hard case? else have airs without cases? how hold on time? don't want have bunch of scratches , dents love having air without case.....

i in same situation - macbook air in hard case. kept in sleeve. in honesty, hard case added bulk , weight otherwise-beautifully thin macbook air. took off, , now, carry in sleeve. if you're careful while carrying around, shouldn't need hard case (just sleeve prevent scratches). depending on how take out, tedious put hard case on , off each time leave house, recommend keeping off.

enjoy macbook air - feels much, better use without hard case - use way intended used (thin , light).
