purely speculation of course; think apple pay (if/when launch in uk) struggle payments greater £20?

contactless payments common £20 lack form of authorisation. uk industry move allow contact-less payments greater £20 if using apple pay touch id authorisation?

seem recall card reader doesn't allow contactless option transactions greater £20.
