Broken Display ... Early 2013 MacBook pro ...

hey ... 2013 15" retina macbook pro screen seems broken ... , i'm out of warranty ... wondering if can give me ball park ... on apple charge fix ...

or if should order panel owc ... 499.99 , replacement myself ...

bit perplexed how happened there no physical damage either side of top case of screen ... have bunch of vertical , horizontal lines running out point.
 

make genuis bar appointment, , kindly request/suggest possibility of being sent out "depot flat rate repair" if not bring up. applicable if there no physical damage (which seems case!). *may* end being less expensive replacing panel yourself. luck!

also, may not panel itself, component upstream.
