Quick question about iCloud drive

i assume idea of how works wrong, pictured icloud drive on our pc/mac (like dropbox) , can put "files of type (quoted craig during wwdc) , view them on of devices.

presume incorrect, , it's in fact strict? hoping put music/video file icloud drive , view via icloud drive on phone.
 

guessing dropbox , allow file don't know yet since there's no file manager app on iphone yet , apps can't use ios 8 apis yet can't check if, instance, video playback app pull app icd , play although presumably that's how work.
