Very slow "Open with"

i have 5,1, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd , 4 spinners. boot drive ssd.

when right click file , accidentally pause on "open with" beach ball anywhere 15-90 seconds, well. pain can't else in finder while spinning.

idea causing this? 1 thought had cloned old 1tb drive ssd , didn't delete anything. looking @ 'applications' on both drives?

else pretty zippy, open slow.
 

try rebuild open cache terminal command: (just paste it, , reboot)

/system/library/frameworks/coreservices.framework/frameworks/launchservices.framework/support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
