My lightning cable disintegrated...

i've been using same cable 2 years now. there little tear @ top patched electrical tape earlier year, kept getting worse , worse , started flaking off on desk continued using it.

whatever green coating they're using on wrap around wires pretty melted outer (it stained green). doesn't on hands or anything, it's sticky , i'm sure if took fingernail it'd come off.

else have similar happen theirs? there's such big deal using official cables because they're safer, have problems of own.

still works fine, had using looked , felt bad charge phone, heh.
 

if can take apple store, apple exchange you. know durability of things nonexistent.

got fed , switched amazonbasics cable. it's beefier , 6ft. size. never going apple lightning cable again.
