Youtube html5 1080p

anyway, safari support 1080p html5 on youtube yosemite?

finding bunch of info netflix , such vague responses on reddit youtube. i'd prefer use safari 1080p youtube video html5 rather using chrome in mavericks.

if not, why? if how play?
