Mic Failed on My 5s -- I Think It's Trying to Send Me a Message

i kid not. shortly after midnight, mic on 5s no longer working (which odd since there 3 mics i'm going speculate if 1 fails, cease work). siri won't pick on noise , none of sound recording apps record sound (the resulting file silent). it's not issue speaker, odd since i've found few reports of mic failing on 5s. i'll try software update has had similar issue?

need test phone call in morning i'm going assume other person won't able hear me.

planning sell in november anyway when update date comes still don't feel taking trip apple store, if becomes slammed launch.
