Stolen iPhone on Launch Day

wow. never thought first post this.

happened is: had iphone shipped college, , when went pick @ mail room, given box sliced open, packing slip , cardboard in box. looked around mail room quite bit , there no sign of iphones. point when realized iphone 6 has been stolen. whoever stole phone knew inside , took advantage of fact recipient did not have present when package delivered. i'm thinking contacting police already...

thought today supposed happy day me, i'm sitting here , freaking out. suggestions actions should take?

sorry if there's broken english. brain's not functioning now. mean still can't believe happened. wtf?!

edit: i'm thinking it, it's possible people @ mail room stole it. how know iphone inside? mean, package doesn't except address , tracking number.
