Unlocked iphone 5 and docomo

so started living in japan @ beginning of september. managed japanese friend go me docomo , me sim unlocked iphone 5.

got 2 gig plan (which i've reached because haven't been able internet set @ home yet) , mopera u foma.

i've drained data loading web pages. can't stream videos. assured me 3g using fine... it's not.

options here? i'm used lte speeds got in canada. can switch through docomo increase connectivity? please :(
