iPhone Old backup on iOS 8

sorry if has been asked, didn't have luck finding thread on this.

i'm running ios 7.0.4 on jailbroken iphone 5. i'm receiving 6 tomorrow. have un-jailbreak 5 before backing , being able restore backup on 6, or can backup 5 , restore backup straight away on 6 contain ios 8, or won't compatible?

you can backup , restore , it'll fine might bringing on jailbroken files on stock
