Magsafe tip - liquid damage

so asked today magsafe tip (the computer end) dropped bit of coffee. unplugged wall , not plugged machine.

sort of liquid damage magsafe, what's chance of recovery after drying here? what's chance causes damage machine when gets plugged in (after drying)?
 

soak end in half cup of isopropyl alcohol several minutes (i.e.: keep in there , go have coffee or something.) when back, swish around bit , take out , let air dry on towel hour or 2 (i.e.: watch movie on netflix or something.)
