So is it impossible to purchase an iPhone now at a store?

this first iphone launch i'm not sure how whole shipment stores works.

couple of days before september 19th, apple shipped first batch of iphones across world. chances of me walking apple store, best buy or verizon in america (in town that's not extremely populated) , able walk out 6 plus?

stores totally out of stock? , when apple ship next batch of iphones stores? there way tell?

interested in purchasing iphone 6+ on october 15th @ store. safe will/won't able purchase 1 then?
 

you can go through order process you're ordering phone, , able see if particular apple store has inventory or not. local stores here in las vegas have 6 available in colors , sizes
