The Hundreds/Thousands in New York

i curious if heard if thousands of people lined @ apple flagship store in ny got phones? after seeing videos of line literally being many blocks long, not wonder if store had many phones or if many went away disappointed.
 

i called applecare last night because need replacement 64gb iphone 6 white/silver since current 1 has black speck underneath screen , said nearest store (5th avenue flagship) out of one, assume there have been people walked away without one.
