purchase iphone full price without contract keep verizon unlimited data. out of contract. can go apple retail, purchase phone in-person on launch day @ full price, , cancel verizon preorder? apple retail offer full price purchases on launch day? (apple.com permits 2-year promotional upgrades out of contract.)

i'm wondering if equipment order in verizon queue restrict apple retail in-store launch day purchase.
